Once upon a (un)broken dream

i used to read books like these to take my mind off of reality
once upon a broken dream there was a kid destined to be great
but a curse that seeped into his soul twisted his soul
he was a hallow corpse
but now two demons reside there
with the help of empathy and a longing to not exist
he finds a way to hurt the ones close to him
turns them against each other
and watch as peace starts to dim
chaos reigns with an iron fist
yet his chaos has a hallow melted down
sobbing til the end of days inside
yet he comes to realize
that even though life creates a dark cloud
it makes it so that the rain helps the life below grow
you may think you know that the whole world
is a torment device
constantly cranking up human kind's insanity
begging god to finally end it all
yet your lapse in vision blocks you from seeing the
spaces in between the lines
this story is just a parallel universe to the life you believe shouldn't be there
but where you say you hurt people all i see are trees there
your tears gave life to a subtle change and its ok that chaos runs rampant like bulls
we have a loving peace like an electric fence to keep them in check
once upon a time i read a book that  changed my outlook on reality
the story of the kid that never wanted to exist but did
and it made this world a little bit better
