The One That

I was that girl- the one that couldn't look at herself without throwing up

I was that girl- the one that no one would talk to

I was that girl- the one that had to take a blade to her skin to feel something

I was that girl- the one that wanted to die

I am that girl- the one that overcame her troubles

I am that girl- the one that people started talking to in the halls

I am that girl- the one that woke up loving herself

I am that girl- the one that feels complete
