the one

I love you,

Not because of the way you look

Or the way you dress

Or because you’re the star athlete

I love you,

Because you make me smile bigger,

Laugh harder,

Think deeper.

You love the stars, and I’ve

Grown to love them too

Because every time I see them,

I think they shine as bright as you

You love the winding back roads, and

Now I see the beauty in them too

You make me the better version of myself, and

I love you.
