The One

Dear the one,

You broke me down and made me drown.

I fell harder and harder every lie you told.

As we wrote each other,

I thought we'd be together forever,

but I was far from reality.

You continued to break me,

and I continued to fall for you.

We grew apart,

and it broke my heart.

I thought you were mine,

but now showed other signs.

I wanted you to be the one,

but you just wanted to have fun.

You left,

and committed the theft.

I moved on from this,

but never forgot our last kiss.

Sincerely,

the one you let go
