The One

The faint beating of a heart To hear it beat the same time as mine Lets us know we'll never be apart All my life I've waited for someone life you Now I have the sweet satisfaction of finally finding you My best friend, lover, partner and all Through life, thick and thin We'll never let each other fall From dusk till dawn we'll still be here Smile or frown we shall conquer fear I used to blame Disney for my high expectations of men But that didn't mean I'd give up hope To wait for my perfect friend Someone life me, and someone completely different Someone to be here with me, to let me relent I'll love you, you'll love me We'll show the world so they can see The real love that occurs between you and me
