The One and The Two
“I am the One you want.”
“Just give me a chance.”
“We are perfect for each other.”
“I won’t be perfect, but I will try my best.”
“I promise our lives together.”
“I won’t make you empty promises.”
“I’ll shower you in gifts.”
“I will always care for you.”
Because I love you
I ask you to be mine
I don’t want to right now
“Do you not love me?”
“Are you not ready?”
“Are you with someone else?”
“Do they make you happy?”
I just can’t be with you right now
“Why?”
“What’s wrong?”
“Do you not want me?”
“Let me help you.”
Because I love you
I won’t speak to you again
“Please be mine.”
“Let’s start as friends.”
“I’ll make you feel good.”
“I’ll take you many places.”
I’m ready, I’ll be yours.
“Do what I tell you to want,
Just know you’re only mine.”
“Do as you please,
Just know I’ll always care.”
“You will do as I say, and talk to whom I say.”
“Do what makes you happy, but careful with whom you speak.”
“I don’t like this person.”
“I don’t like him either.”
“Don’t talk to him anymore.”
“Just be careful around him.”
Listen to me
Because I love you
“I don’t want you to be around him.”
“I don’t want you to talk to him.”
“You belong to me.”
“He is not a good person.”
“You promised to be mine.”
“I promised I’d care for you.”
Because I love you
I ask you to choose
The One and the two say they love me
Yet they both showed it
The One and the two act as though they love me
Yet they don’t always act it
The One makes me feel good when we kiss
The two makes me feel good when we hold hands
The One promises to always be mine
The two promises to always care
The One broke my heart
The two repaired it
