One Chance

I have one chance.

One chance

To say what's on my mind.

One chance

To speak my truth.

One chance

For a sliver of closure.

Everything depends

On this one conversation.

Will you even respond?

I'll have to keep

My own protection

Oh,

By the way

Did I mention?

This is my one chance.
