One Change

Just one thing they say,

what would you change?

I'd be rich says the poor,

Famous says the dreamer

World peace they yell out.

But me?

I want Justice for a life was taken too soon.

A hero,

A dreamer,

My best friend

And brother.

Such potential you held.

Hopes and plans

with no chance to grow.

One change and – poof,

No limit to what you could accomplish.

Just one thing they say.

For that change

I would do anything.

An exchange even

Your life for mine.

The best change there could be

Your life

My death
