One Day

One day I’ll have hands and feet With ten fingers and ten toes One day I’ll have a face that is complete With eyes, ears, mouth, and a nose One day my body will grow big strong I’ll be loved in a place where I belong Today is sadly not that day Sitting with you in this strange room Today is sadly one that is gray While waiting inside your womb Today you’ve made a terrible choice You’re just lucky I don’t have a voice One day you’ll regret not keeping me You didn’t see me as a blessing One day you’ll regret not loving me You saw me as something you’re suppressing Once I’m gone you know it’s forever I thought you’d never get rid of me what so ever Today has ended my hands and feet With ten fingers and ten toes Today has end my face that is complete With eyes, ears, mouth, and a nose Today has ended my body growing big and strong I have no place where I belong One day you’ll realize I was alive You took away everything from me One day you’ll realize I could have been five You took away everything I could be One day should have been today But right now I’m fading away
