One Day
Waiting for the moment
When I feel like I can breathe
Wishing, hoping, praying
Lying through my teeth
Waiting for the moment
When I stand on my own feet
Though the wait is strenuous
I know it will be sweet
Waiting for the moment
When I know that I have love
Resting in my mind until
My heart can rise above
Waiting for the moment
When I learn my fickle fate
There is no rushing destiny
So patiently I'll wait.
