One Day

As I lay here underneath this great tree,

this willow tree I feel the breeze,

So warm and light over my skin causing me goose bumps,

I see the rays of sun seeping through the leaves,

Gently kissing my face,

I sit up and look out at the vast land,

I dream of one day going beyond those hills I see that is so far out of reach,

I dream of a day that I will walk along the shore that puts so much water between me and the rest of the world,

I dream of new sights that put me in awe,

I dream of the culture and change that would be great but i have to pause,

For right now I am here,

Still here sitting under this beautiful willow tree with the sun gently kissing my face and the warm breeze on my body,

And for now I am okay with that,

I am okay with that.
