One Day

One day I will finally feel good. I will finally have peace, I will feel good about everything. And live in the moment. Not in the past or future. One day I will wake up and not feel the weight of yesterday. I will wake up, feeling refreshed. The air will feel lighter, not because the world changed but because I changed. One day I will stop replaying old conversations in my head. I won't wait for a miracle to happen because no miracle will fix me. One day I will stop trying to live up to expectations and just be me. One day I will stop comparing myself to other girls. And believe I am just as enough as them. One day I will realise that I was enough all along. I just needed to see it, feel it, believe it without the noise. But yet, that's just all one day.
