One day

I went from finding it diffucult to stay up to midnight on New Years to not being able to sleep at three in the morning on a school night.

I went from pigtails and bows to flat irons and wastelands of products.

I went from big city living to buckles and cowboy boots.

You never realize you're growing up until you do.

Until you see where you were and see where you've ened up.

One day you just decide to start wearing earings or wear more dresses, and it sticks

You change, by miniscule decisions.

Then you find yourself,

surrounded by different people,

doing things with different crowds.

That's when I saw my growth.

I knew more people,

I became more confident in speaking up.

I sang in front of crowds,

I came out of my shell.

I "glowed out" instead of "glowed up"
