One Day

An ugly egg

A newborn angel

A sigh

All enter a room

Unidentified, unsocialized

Yet the air closes in, closeting hearts

Fury, Confusion, Ignorance run in

Crowding the virgin

One day can change everything

Simple as an interaction

Complex as the context

The ugly egg, newborn angel, and sigh leave and

The peacock rises and

everything and everyone is a new

glowing and glimmering,

now all is precious.

It was worth it.
