One Day.

Tired; too much tired.

I put my life on the line just for it to be set on fire.

Peace of mind is what my heart desires,

but when it comes to do so, all I do is conspire.

Drinking may be my happy place,

only for the short road to halt my pace.

I am seeking for a bit of grace;

I need to just once see his face.

Falling on my knees just to pray,

knowing it's wrong just because of a bad day.

Progress in the making;

but all of my battle grounds are shaking.

My soul is in a tie,

but I only watch it burn, until it later dies.

 Hope is not what I want,

but hope, for me, is written in a different font.

So hard to see now and beeing my vision to clear,

but all I need to hear is "I've got you dear."

ONl yone last time to discern,

maybe one day,

I'll be able to learn.
