One Day

His eyes shine bright,

As day turns to night.

His voice bellows,

As the wind blows.

His laughter sounds,

As somewhere a deer bounds.

His gives one of his smiles,

That I swear could make the lame walk miles.

His face glows,

As my face turns to rose.

Though looking around,

There is no one to be found.

I am the only one to see.

Just as he only sees me.

Though one day,

I will put him to display

To display the boy,

Who has brought all my joy.

I am a poet at heart, and I absolutely love writing. I hope to one day have my poetry book published.
