One Day

One day my life will change.

After I am standing on that stage, reaching for my graduate degree.

Hoping that this is the life I want.

But that’s not all, to be a lawyer I need to pass the bar.

Desires of passing and being in the top test range.

I have already come so far.

One goal is complete, bachelor’s degree is mine.

But can I do it?

Can I pass law school? Will I even be accepted?

Self doubt consumes me,

While fear of failure is eating me alive.

However, I know this dream will be mine.

Through hard work, determination, I will prevail.

I have already come this far.

The world is mine for the taking.

Now I must work hard to score high on the LSAT,

Apply to law schools,

Graduate with my J.D.,

And take the bar.

This will be the day my life will change.
