One Day

Just like a clock i stand there

Watching, waiting, judging.

Hopeful that maybe one day you'll look at me

and not in angst or anger.

Maybe one day you'll hear my ticking as calming gesture

or just stand and admire all the scartches that turnded to woodwork.

Maybe you'll enjoy the way im not like the others.

I don't shine and glimmer in the sunlight.

But until then i'll just stand there

Watching, waiting, judging

until I find my horologist.
