One Day in a Perfect World

No one should have to give up their dreams because of where they're from,

How much their parents make,

Or just about anything else.

Everyone deserves a chance to try to make a difference in the world.

Everyone has a different story,

These stories should be celebrated and discussed,

Not dismissed because it's "too ordinary."

We should not be limited because of the amount of money we have in our bank account...

If you're lucky enough to have a bank account.

One day in a perfect world,

Eveyone will have the choice to go to college,

The question will not be, "What are you doing after you graduate high school?"

But, will be, "Where are you attending after high school?"
