One Day of Rest

To change one thing is what I must do,

And better the world for me and you,

My first thought was money, for me and you all,

But in the end what would that solve,

Next came thoughts of peace into my head,

A great idea indeed but many have already said,

Many thoughts passed both big and small,

My eyes got so heavy and i just let them fall,

Thats when it hit me this great idea of mine,

What if I gave everyone more time,

Another day of the week could simply suffice,

For nothing but sleep to add a little spice,

Everyone would be happy well rested and well,

We could stop all the anger fighting and hell,

So this is my proposal of a week with eight days,

Seven for living and one to hit the Hay.
