One Dream
My Dream isn't about fame or money
nor is it bizarre or funny
My dream is a vision of a new born baby living happy
We didn't start from the bottom, we had to dig ourselves out and grow
They labeled us as the ones who are the worst and put us down low
My dream is for my people to finally stop being afraid and stand up
I dream of a day where my kind can come together
And end the feud between each other, and work together.
Many people hate to see what people like us can achieve.
They rather spit in our face and hate, rather than give us a smile and give us faith
They tell us we are not good enough for their lifestyle
Then turn around and tell us to smile.
They want to give us the illusion of freedom
But in reality they want to strike fear in our eyes.
My dream is for one day our kind to not be rejected from others.
My dream is for kids not to fear us, but let them know we are here to help them.
My dream is the day of unity
Where all our people come together and rise over the hate
And for one day to become a stronger bond
