One in Four women

My face is the color of the rainbow,
Yellow, blue, pink, and red.
He beat me until I was numb.
A couple more hits and I could've been dead.

But please I just want to go home.
NO! NOT TO THE HOSPITAL!
I said I don't want to go..

My nose is still bleeding,
Ever so slow.
The blood keeps dripping.
He hurt me with every blow.

Oh won't you just take me home?
I DON'T WANT TO GO!
Mom, sister, niece, let's go home..

I can't open my eyes,
My vision is no more than a blur.
It hurts so much to talk.
It doesn't matter my words are a slur.

I'm just tired so take me home,
I'M FINE, I'M FINE, now let's go!
I'm not pressing charges if that's what you think..
He ssays he feels bad and he does, I know.
