One Goal

Becoming rich and living a lavish life is the dream

Through it all I remember my family and team

All of the years of struggle just to make money

Just to be marginalized and labeled as funny

Come in first and leave last everyday

Doesnt matter because I dont get paid anyway

On the grind looking for an answer

Drinking straight from the bottle thinking of my mothers cancer

Born a minority will I ever be home

Accepting what's said no matter the tone

Enhancement has always been the goal

Money the key and many will fold

Believing im special is slowly wearing off

Always dreaming of that eventual loft

Patience is a virtue and truly needed

Without hope is lost and dreams are defeated

Is there a purpose is there a reason?

Forced to believe in a higher power during specific seasons

Time is of the essence and life is a blessing

I pray one day I will no longer be stressing
