To the one holding me

Hold my hand.

Hold my face.

It's not a test, it's not

a race.

What we have,

we haven't named.

Please don't forget

that I'm inexperienced and this

is new.

We're learning each other

even while I'm scared to

let go,

even while I'm scared to

hold on.

Hold my hand.

Please

hold my face.
