The One I Could Never Leave Behind.

All I need in life,

While this question may cause strife,

Is one I often think about

and often makes me want to shout.

I think about my family and friends.

Who do I really want with me in the end?

They all provide me with love and care

And they are all people with whom I share.

There are none that I would not want to be around

Because life without them would be like life stuck in noiseless sound.

But through my hours of thought,

There is one with whom I've fought and fought.

But I would never trade her for a soul

She's my sister, one who I love in whole.

She's by my side whenever I need her.

All my problems she seems to cure.

She is my best friend,

And I want her with me until the end.

So if ever there is a day I have to choose,

Sydney would not be the one to lose.

She is the one who I want by side,

a shoulder to lean on when I cried.

She would be the one person I would take.

Our relationship never to shake.
