To the one I let go

I loved you. I want you to know that I loved you.

You were my everything. You meant so much to me.

You, out of few things gave me a reason to strive.

Gave me a reason to stay alive and not let the darkness consume me.

I'm sorry I made you think that you were not enough.

The problem was that I was not enough. I made the mistakes. I let you go.

I thought it was too good to be true. I never thought I would find happiness and when I found it within you, I ran away.

I was scared.

So, I protected myself before I got hurt and I let you leave without stopping you.

For letting you leave without hearing how much you meant to me and how much I needed you, I'm sorry.

I will forever and always love you.
