to the one i'll never speak to
to the one i'll never speak to.
for you. from, me.
for you,
you are my unrequited love.
the type of love that pains only one party,
which happens to be me.
the warmth you bring my heart is unlike no other.
for such a time, I did not have words to explain how you filled my heart so well.
you are the cause of so many smiles on my face, but also the cause of so many tears.
all the nights I cried in my bed, listening to you sing and realizing I would never be with you in person to experience it.
or looking at pictures of you, as if they were from a polaroid camera.
neatly encased in a white border, but yet there is something so imperfect about you.
tears stream as I write this because somehow this feels as if it is a goodbye, but I could never say goodbye to you.
I simply do not have words to describe how your hair looks in the sunlight, or how my heart skips a beat when your eyes meet mine.
but you will never know any of this.
because this love is one-sided.
and that kills me more than anything.
because you do not know me.
and all I can do is just sit here and helplessly fall into a hole that only I got myself into.
but you are just so beautiful.
absolutely radiant.
and there's no one else I'd rather fall for.
from, me
