One Image
Darkness around me
No sight to see
Silence around me
No sound to hear
Emptiness around me
No touch to feel
I am alone
Deep inside a bird flutters
Pulling at the thumping organ in my chest
Deep inside a gun fires
Killing the hope that dared stir inside
I am empty
I am forgotten
One image stays in my mind as I am starved of my senses
One image lives on even as my sanity is lost
One image keeps on living deep within my skull
Six brothers and me
One image
