One Job Will Change My Life

The dark wings

Walking through minimal light

Finding your place in the darkness and waiting for your cue

As the overture plays it fills your heart with excitement and anticipation

The journey is about to begin

Opening night of the right show opens countless doors

You are discovered then desired

The press knows your name

The public knows your face

And employers know your talents

One job is all it takes to set a path

To take you from struggling artist to successful actress

One job earned by luck and talent

Years of hard work and lessons and studies

Countless rejections for not being the right height, look, or voice

All of your hopes and dreams

They are all paid off in this one job that will change your life
