One Lane Highway

Secrets all around, Eyeballs drown with frowns Hallways are tunnels without the vision Walking alone, Talking to an empty phone Staying secure in the head, My mind is my friend Voices whistling bye Standing alone, The cold of loneliness strikes through my bones, The music that’s playing, has a different tone No colors around, Maybe some gray and brown, People wearing masks, They might as well be clowns No pack to join, No friends to annoy Walking alone, Trying to concur the throne No jokes, money, or gimmicks need to be shown Outside looking in, Nobody asks where I’ve been Walls are up, Doors are locked Standing alone, Somebody throw me a bone Walking alone, It’s as good as home
