One Last Beginning


The spirit travels

where facts can’t go

 

Past the borders

of what’s to know

 

Equated speech,

its truth unrhymed

 

Dogmatic, to amend

in time

 

But freedom calls,

its voice impends

 

One last beginning

—that seeks no end
