One Last Question

What if I never tell you how I feel every day?

What if I never thank the lord for you when I pray?

Instead of holding your hands

I fold mine and then walk away.

What if we never made up?

Each one of us looked away

And chose to give it all up,

What if we never gave love a second chance?

Obeyed our enemy`s wishes

Listened to everything they said about us

Especially when they said

Our love would not last?

What if we forgot that you and I were meant to be?

Each of us took their love and walked away.

Yes

I used to ask myself these questions

Until the day I lost you.

Today I will ask one last question

What if I told you I’m still in love with you?
