One Last Time

If I could lay in your embrace For the rest of my days, I would be in the happiest grace With the biggest smile plastered on my face. If only the clouds would quit the rain, If only this heart would cease to pain, I could have the love I wish to gain. I could be happy once again. You are my solid rock. You are the one who stops their mock. You hold the key to this lock That's encasing my heart's stock. I feel as if I've failed. This is evident from the times I've wailed. Into a guarder I've been railed As soon as you chose and bailed. Now honey I don't blame you. If anyone it's myself I rue. Please remember this too, I'll love you from this day through. Please won't you just try To find the love inside? Please won't you stop my cry And tell me while here on the bed I lie: I love you.
