Off to work I went
Without a doubt in my mind
That my two baby twins were 
as safe as could be 
I hadn’t a single thought 
That my two beautiful baby twins
I still love so very much
Would leave me and their mother
From one little mistake 
With one huge impact

I fear the men
Who call themselves men of justice 
Men of the people
Rather see my tears fall in a cell
Than on the floor at my two baby twins’ funeral

Those men
Those men of injustice 
Who think of no one but themselves 
And only jail to be for anyone else
Rather see a mourning father
Who never thought to make
Such a little mistake

In a jail cell
Than a funeral
For his two beautiful baby twins
