One Logical Paradox

Constantly desiring a change in atmosphere, believing the world has so much more to offer me

Anger ignites in my soul when I hear all the evils of the world broadcasted on the News

Painted pictures of love, travelling, being successful blurs within my tainted mind

Repressing my emotions in hopes of not bringing others down becomes a habit

Instantly gaining a hope for humanity after seeing that one girl, that young girl, give that homeless man money

Counting the blessings in my life, realizing not everyone is as fortunate as I

Increasing the self-esteem that has been so low all my life

Occasionally having bursts of true happiness

Understanding there is only so much control one has over life

Suddenly being bombarded by emotions; hating the fact that they eat me up inside, but loving the fact that I feel
