One look in his eyes... That's all it takes To know he's not a child He's a soldier that has fought A child that is lost.. . His innocence so shaken How does he carry on? With dreams of salvation Escape, returning home. . Though many do not know this He's fought because of fear His life has been altered But still we do not hear . His world is one big nightmare Yet still he carries on Despite the odds, he knows One day, he'll be back home. . This child is a soldier Though he shouldn't be His hope is astonishing It's what inspires me.
