One Mission: Success

Life for me has been very good

 Even if I grew up in what's officially known as the hood,

 I have technically accomplished so much

 However, I feel like I have not done such,

 Elementary, middle, and high school

 They each have offered me a different, useful tool,

 Keys to life that I will need to know;

 To be the successful person I hope to show,

 My life has not even officially started

 A sea of barricades in my way, yet to be parted,

 My future ahead though seems to be very bright

 And I plan to make it with all my might,

 I firmly believe I have the smarts

 I know right now I definitely have the heart,

 I will be all that I want to be

 My dream of success will surely carry me.
