With azure skies

and dry eyes

A waddling duck

prints in the muck

And the whole world is

Still.

The wind ceases its quaking

The leaves forget to be shaking

Blood stops its gushing

Babies are hushing

The world is

Silent

For a moment-

We are frozen in time

Suspended in rhyme

I look in your eyes

And I despise

That it’s just

One Moment.
