One More Day

If I could talk one more day

What words would I say to thee

Would I fall upon the floor

And make clear what is felt by me

Should I start with a word, the deepest one

Known to man that contains

Only four short letters then it's done

Quickly gone, but yet it remains

No words can do you justice

I could ramble on, a normal day

However, a day only lets me skim the surface

You must feel what I have to say

The words I say do not much matter

As lone as you feel them above all the chatter

I live in a small town so there is not much to do. Writing is a way for me to entertain myself when I'm not busy with cheerleading practice and all the other clubs I'm involved in. I hope you enjoy my poems as much as I enjoy writing them! :)
