One More Day

If I had one more day with you,

I'd ask about your life.

I'd learn so many things,

Even hear about the bad times.

If I had one more day with you,

You would show me more about cars.

You could teach me right from wrong,

Even if it was the last time.

If I had one more day with you,

I would make sure to tell you I love you.

I would make sure you knew,

Even if I didn't have to say the words.

If I had one more day with you,

I would miss you while I was with you.

I would hold it together,

Even if it was the last hug I'd get from you.

If I had one more day with you.
