One More Mile

Running, hot beads of sweat dripping down my face.

Drops of defiance as I continue forward with confidence.

Freedom as I take each step towards the ending goal.

Day by day, morning to night, I leave with no regret.

Knowing that with each mile, I become more of who I am.
