One more selfie

2 Corinthians 10:12

Limits of Paul’s Authority

12 For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

Take one more selfie

Yes! You are the Master ... the universe is Thine

You won’t give many orders unless we ask for these

You came to set me free from this heart of mine

but it seems to get farther away only myself to please

How can I truly follow if I want to make my choices?

How can I serve sincerely if my heart is not in it?

How can I know my Master if I listen to other voices,

that drag me to kinds of belief where myself is in it?

We sing many songs but we don’t bleed profusely

We rhyme our thoughts as objects for our pleasure

We bring our sacrifices that don’t cost anything

We keep our eyes on everyone to use for our measure
