One New Boy

From ripped tshirts, to pretty pink dresses

From muddy hands, to glittery nails

From worn sneakers, to new high heals

This is me.

From one brother, to two

From tomboy, to girly girl

just like that.

Nine years later

the new brother changes my life,

my brothers were best friends

leaving me to hate mud and love glitter.

From then, to now

couldn't be happier.
