One Night

One night is all I need
To show the world
What they don’t see
All the kids
Like you and me We are not as bad
As we seem
Just take time
And believe
That maybe
You and I Can change
The way they see
All kids
Just like
You and me We can show
The world
We are better
Than they claim us to be
We are not the same
We all carry different title and names
We are not to blame
For the way
Our generation
Went up in flames
It’s from the lack of teaching
That we are not reading
Your expectations
You and me
The world
One night is all we need
To change how this world
Sees
This Generation
You and Me
