One night

Black as the dark

Whistling by me

So swift in the night

Unknown to the known

Unseen to the seen

Fear clutching my voice

My arms my legs

My soul

I want to flee

With ever cell in my body

I want to be the one in control

But I'm not

I'm helpless

The sweat runs through me hair

Why does it get the privelege

The want I want the most

To run away

To escape the panic

Devouring the night

And engulfing my dreams

My nightmares
