One by One

As i look out my window

Do you kno what I see?

A suffering, hurting world

Right in front of me.

I can hear the people

Crying out in pain

As the tears run down their face

Trying to hide them in the rain.

They feel like they have no hope

Don't care anymore

They feel like giving up

Not one open door.

They need some hope

Something to live for

Not what they feel inside

This ongoing war.

They need love and a dream

They need to be all they can be

They need someone to show them that

And I'm hoping that it will be me.

I hope to help these people

The ones who feel hopeless

Who feel truely unloved

And that their live is a mess.

I want to do what I can

That's what I live for you see

I want to help every living soul

It's about them, not me.

Although I can't really make

The biggest difference now

I'm looking for ways to do so

I just need to find out how.

So for now I will just help people

One by one

Make as much of a difference as I can

To make them feel like they've won.
