A One Page Eulogy

Most of us will have a one page eulogy

Just like some of us have a one page résumé

We will be remembered by one poem

We will be remembered by one sentence.

Life flashes in our face like a quick glance

Fire can easily spread when it’s hot and sunny

We will be remembered by one je t’aime

We will be remembered another day.

Most earthquakes don’t last more than fifty seconds

A twister can destroy an entire town at a glance

Enjoy life while we can uninhibitedly. Life is priceless.

We come as we go, don’t take anything for granted

We will be remembered because we did our very best

We will be remembered ‘cause we’re stubbornly unabated.
