One Person
The Passion. The Trust. The Love. The Lust.
The feeling of hope and desire for something that's wanted so badly.
I go so far to follow my heart that I always lose myself, sadly.
What path will it take me on this time?
Which bend in the road won't cause my soul to ache this time?
When will shoveling through myself and ripping through this barricade to present my true self be enough for anyone?
One person is all I want!
One person is all I need!
Dear God, I am on my hands and knees begging for your mercy on my heart.
I've been battered before I was even given the chance to start.
Trust.
So much I put into those that aren't worthy.
How will I know if there is one person that is worth me?
So much to give.
I have so much to give.
There is so much I give, but my target has been missed.
I have so much to give to my one but will they be able to handle it?
Yes, this love will be taken round by round,
but first things first, they need to be found.
