But I refuse to be Pulled under

Refuse - to be thought of as nothing

But the Water's hands are strong

Pushing and Pulling me down with words

She is One person - one soul

She is drowning - struggling to survive

The Sea of Expectations has trapped another

Down in the darkness of failure

She was - One person - that's all she was

She struggled to prove she was more

The Water pushed her into the darkness
