One Rhyme At A Time

Poetry has taught me the value of time,

the value of words, and the value of rhymes.

Words are often misconstrued, 

often taken for granted, and often misused.

With poetry, I've learned the value of skill,

the value of patience and goodwill.

With poetry, i've spread positivity, 

using words and avoiding negativity.

With poetry, i've learned to spread my wings and fly,

to conquer the world one rhyme at a time.
